Detailed mechanical and electrical design for 21 high-end luxury apartments in Fulham.
Dee Solutions was employed by the mechanical and electrical sub-contractor to undertake the detailed mechanical and electrical design and co-ordinated working drawing from RIBA design framework level 3 to RIBA stage 6.
Carried out under a design and build contract, this luxury residential development consisted 21 high-end apartments and corresponding central plantroom and plant.
To ensure comfort and energy efficiency for these beautiful homes we included UFH heating, AC comfort cooling, lighting, small power, audio visual and home automatic system to control all systems.
The design of the mechanical, electrical and public health systems also included cold water, hot water, waste and foul water, low temperature hot water, heating, VRV cooling, rainwater, lighting, electrical distribution, earthing, metering, communications, BMS, fire systems and natural gas.
- The total CO2 emissions of the residential section was be reduced by 31% over a Building Regulations (2010) baseline. These reductions will be achieved through energy efficiency measures, a CHP engine, PV panels and Air Source Heat Pumps.
- Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 will be achieved for all dwellings and BREEAM Very Good for the commercial spaces.
- Water efficient devices and rainwater harvesting will reduce internal water consumption; internal potable water usage in dwellings will be less than 105 litres/person/day.
